Once upon a time I got suckered in to working for free. Promises weren't kept, dealings went shady, and I wised up.
In 2009, I was fresh out of school (graduated in 2008) and trying to teach myself Flash animation so I could break into the industry. During this time I was contacted by a company asking me to do work for them.......for free. Hit Girls is a trailer I animated for the company, so they could pitch the show to several networks in hopes of getting it picked up. The payoff would be that they would bring me to New York, and I would get to work with them and develop the show as one of the creators. I agreed, on the condition that I would get it in writing, and that I would only do so much for free, as specified in our correspondence.
Long story short, I designed and created this thing during my off time. Dealings went south, I completed my end of the deal, they didn't, I held onto it. I've been sitting on this project for three years. So here it is, unfinished. HIT GIRLS. Hope you enjoy.
@01:43ferg, you're such a beast dude. i love that you already have a recognizable style to your work. not just in the way your characters look.. but in your storytelling and action as well.
